Mr. Charles Edward Fields, age 72 of Delco, North Carolina peacefully entered the land of eternity on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC surrounded by family.

He is the husband of Charlotte L. Fields; father of Shatauya Simmons and Prezzy John Fields. He also leaves behind a myriad of family and friends.

Homegoing celebration will take place 11:30am Thursday, May 29, 2025 at New Townsend Temple Ministries 273 Smith Lane, Bolton, NC 28423.

Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery Delco, NC.

A walk through viewing for relatives and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025  during the hours  of  1:00pm to 7:00pm at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425 and prior to the homegoing celebration on Thursday, May 29, 2025 during the hour of 11:00am to 11:25am at New Townsend Temple Ministries, Bolton.

Though Charles is gone, may his memory echo through the lives he touched.
