We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Channeta (Neena) Ann Sidbury Dubrey, age 65, of Hampstead, North Carolina, who transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Mrs. Dubrey was the cherished wife of Mr. Tyrone Dubrey and the devoted mother of Ms. Tacara Chanel Sidbury. She will be remembered for her energetic spirit, her spunk, and the way she loved everyone she met. A woman of deep faith, Channeta loved God, treasured her family, and found joy in serving faithfully at her church. Her warmth, laughter, and zest for life lit up every room she entered.

To honor her life and legacy, a visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located at 810 W Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC.

A Homegoing Celebration will follow on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Union Bethel Church, 11 Union Bethel Road, Hampstead, NC.

Interment will take place at the Shepard Family Cemetery in Hampstead, NC.
