It is with deep sorrow and humble hearts that we announce the passing of Mother Catherine Armstrong Pickett, of Maple Hill, North Carolina  who entered eternal rest at the age of 92. A cherished mother, grandmother, spiritual guide and pillar of faith, Mother Pickett departed this life peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mother Pickett is survived by her children, Scottie Pickett, Mary Wooten, Shirbey Graham, Peggy Boney, Ross Pickett, Catherine Malloy and Latoya Pickett and a myriad of family and friends.

Homegoing celebration will take place 1:00pm Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Greater St. Paul United Holy Church Webbtown Road, Maple Hill, NC.

Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will take place 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC.

Her unwavering devotion to God, her family and the Maple Hill Community left a mark on all who knew her.
