Mrs. Carrie L. Simpson Marshall , age 91, of Currie, peacefully laid down the burdens of this life and was added to Heaven's beautiful garden on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 while in the comfort of her residence. Mrs. Marshall is the mother of Barbara A. Marshall, Rev. Dr. Clifton Marshall, Jr., Rebra Jordan, Valrica Dunmyer, Vanis O. Marshall and Fheoshamin P. Marshall.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church - 60 Minuteman Road, Currie, NC 28435. Interment will immediately follow in the Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located in Currie, North Carolina.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will take place during the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at Mrs. Marshall's Homestead - 75 Porter Road Currie, North Carolina 28435.
