Mrs. Carrie R. Pickett , age 86, of the Angola Community in Maple Hill, quietly transitioned from her labor to eternal rest on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 while at Onslow Memorial Hospital located in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Mrs. Pickett is the wife of the late Galloway Pickett, Sr.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at St. James United Holy Church located on Highway 53 East in Maple Hill, North Carolina. Interment will immediately follow in the McCullen Pickett Cemetery located in the Angola Community of Maple Hill, NC.

Public Viewing for relatives and friends will be held one (1) hour prior to Mrs. Pickett's Homegoing Celebration during the hour of 12:00 Noon - 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at St. James United Holy Church located on Highway 53 East in Maple Hill, North Carolina.
