Mrs. Beverly McCorkle Williams, age 67, of Castle Hayne departed this earthly life and peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. She is the wife of Howard "Maxwell" Williams, the mother of Nicole Ballard and the sister of Charles McCorkle.

Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at St. James A.M.E. Church 3425 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne, NC 28429. Interment will follow in the John Chapel Cemetery Oakley Road, Castle Hayne.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm -7:00pm Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.,  810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425 and 11:00am -11:50am prior to the noon homegoing celebration service on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at St James A.M.E. Church.

The family will be receiving guest at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Jarvis and Nicole Ballard, 1932 Shaw Highway Rocky Point, NC.
