Mrs. Betty Marie Smith, age 85, of Burgaw transitioned into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side.

Those left to cherish Mrs. Smith's memory are her children: Antoinette Smith Crosson and Maclevader Smith; sisters: Dorothy Lee Hargett and Lula Mae Bond and a myriad of family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Empact Ministry 5110 US Highway117 North, Wallace, NC 28466.

Interment will follow in the Tate Family Cemetery Pike Creek Church Road Burgaw, NC 28425.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, November 4, 2024 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
