Bernice Sidbury, 86, was called home on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Azalea Health & Rehab Center in Wilmington, NC. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched the hearts of all who knew her. Bernice lived a life full of love, joy, and generosity, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a pillar of strength and grace, and her gentle spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community.

Bernice is survived by her children, Curtis Sidbury, Alvis Sidbury, Callis Sidbury, and Elwandya S. Walker. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on through her family and all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Bernice's life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM with a viewing prior to the service 12:00-12:50 pm at Union Bethel Church, 11 Union Bethel Rd, Hampstead, NC 28443. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering a woman whose life was a testament to love, faith, and community.
