In Loving Memory of Arbelvia Walker, Jr.

Arbelvia Walker, Jr., transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, December 15,2025 at the White Oak Manor Long Term Care Facility in Kings Mountain, N.C. He was born in Burgaw, N.C. on September 22,1951.

Arbelvia, affectionately called “Junior”, was cherished by members of his family, who included his wife of 42 years, Ida Rae Walker, daughter, Meka Hayes, son, Sean Jacobs, and sister, Barbara Walker.

He leaves behind a legacy of love that extends through three Aunts, two Uncles, two Nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on February 7, 2026, at 12 O’clock Noon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 4134 Piney Woods Road, Willard, N.C., Rev. Dr. Eva Merritt, Officiant, Rev Dr. Richard Newkirk, Eulogist.
