Apostle Mary A. Sharpless, age 71 of Jacksonville, North Carolina slipped away into a life of eternity on Monday, November 3, 2025 at her residence. She was born to the late Sallie James Graham and Stacy Lee and was married to the late Walter Sharpless, Jr.

Homegoing celebration will be held 1:00pm Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425. All viewing will be held at the end of the homegoing celebration service.

In Lieu of standing sprays the family request potted plants or garden dishes so that they can be nurtured and cared for in her memory.
