Mr. Anson James Grady affectionately known as "AJ", age 76, of Rocky Point was peacefully added to Heaven's Army on Sunday, April 2, 2023 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is the husband of Mrs. Tammy Wooten Grady; father of James Scott Grady and Anson Parker Grady; bonus children, Johnnie Haynes and the late Ardella Haynes; sisters, Rena Harris(Don), Mary Rogers(Robert, deceased); and brother, Brad Grady(Cris).

A Homegoing Service will take place at 11:30a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment with military honors will immediately follow in the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery 110 Montford Landing Road Jacksonville, NC.

Public Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 10:30a.m. - 11:25a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425 prior to the 11:30a.m. Homegoing Service.
