Mrs. Annie Thelma Armstrong Smith , age 90, of Burgaw, gracefully laid down the burdens of this world and traded mortal for immortality on Thursday, December 22, 2022 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is the mother of Joane White, Melvin Smith, Annie Murphy and District Elder Dan A. Smith, Jr.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 12:00Noon on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church - 4054 US Highway 117 S, Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Tate Cemetery located in Burgaw, North Carolina.

Public Viewing and Visitation for family and friends will convene during the hours of 4:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
