Reverend Angelia Yvette Hayes, age 61 of Maple Hill, joined the heavenly host on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center, Wilmington, NC surrounded by her loving family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Roy G. Hayes, Sr.; children, Mariah Hayes, Roy Hayes, Jr. and Christian Hayes along with a host of family and friends.

Angelia was a devoted daughter, beloved wife, nurturing mother, caring aunt, and cherished friend. Known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter, she had a natural gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. A true people person, Angelia's joyful presence and sense of humor lit up every room she entered.

She loved deeply and lived fully, especially when surrounded by her family—who were the heartbeat of her life. Whether offering a word of encouragement, sharing a story, or simply showing up with a warm smile, she touched countless lives with grace, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Celebration of life honoring a true woman of faith will be held 2:00pm Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Lees Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 7501 NC Highway 50, Maple Hill, NC 28454.

Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery, Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 during the hours of 4:00pm -6:00pm at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
