Obituary

Andrew "Craig" Braak born May 30, 1949 transitioned from his Earthly life on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

Visitation will be 10:00am to 10:50am followed by the 11:00am to 12:00pm service Saturday, February 22, 2020 at McClure Presbyterian Church, 5908 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne, NC.

Craig was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved to fish with friends, ride his tractor, grill out, work with his hands and spend time with his family.

Craig was a mentor to so many people.  He was often affectionately known as "Daddy Craig".  He was one that had a soft voice but it carried a loud message.  He always carried God's presence with him and was a servant with every step he took.

He graduated from New Hanover High School in 1967.  He served in the Navy from 1970 to 1976 when he was honorably discharged.  He later graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, but chose to work in the family wholesale florist business, Ludeke Farms and be self-employed.

Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Mina Braak.

He is survived by his wife, Laura, his daughters, Kimberly Brown (Antwane), Karen Parker (Sherrall, deceased), his grandchildren, Carleigh Brown, Daja Parker and Jaeden Brown, his brother, Bernie Braak (Linda Meyer), his sister, Diana Kincannon (Kelly), nieces, along with many cousins and friends.
