Mr. Alvurnish Holmes , age 74, of Ivanhoe, quietly placed his hand in the Master's and departed this life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is the husband of Mrs. Mittie B. Holmes.

A Homegoing Viewing for relatives and friends will take place 2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

Interment will follow at 3:30p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Royal Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery - 7660 Ivanhoe Rd, Ivanhoe, NC 28447.
