Mrs. Altermece Ruth Pickett, age 75, of Burgaw, Transitioned from labor to reward peacefully on Thursday October 27, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center Wilmington, NC. She is the wife of Bishop Bert Pickett.

Homegoing celebration will take place at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Greater St. Paul United Holy Church 1300 Webbtown Road Maple Hill, NC. Interment will follow in the Pickett Family Cemetery Maple Hill.

Viewing and visitation for relatives and friends will be held 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC.
