Mrs. Adelaide Jackson Simpson age 83, of Currie accepted her new assignment and peacefully Transitioned into her new home on Sunday, July 09, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Wilmington, NC. She is the mother of Ellis A. Simpson, Sr, Cynthia Simpson, Wanda Hansley, Mazell Holmes, Kenneth Simpson Jr. and Elvis Simpson, Sr.

Homegoing celebration service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Moores Creek Missionary Baptist Church 60 Minuteman Road Currie, NC. Interment will follow in the Moores Creek M.B. Church Cemetery.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, July 14, 2023 at Dunn Funeral Home 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
